Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is collected on diegomacana.com, what it is used for and how to exercise the rights granted by Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Diego Mauricio Macana Roa, based in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any privacy question, please write to contacto@diegomacana.com.

2. What data is collected

Email address: only if a person voluntarily enters it in the report subscription form.
Messages: if a person writes to contacto@diegomacana.com, their address and the content of the message are kept in order to reply.

The site does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies and does not request sensitive data.

3. What it is used for

Subscribers’ email addresses are used solely to send the reports and analysis of Diego Macana Roa and Anubis Intelligence & Strategy, and related communications. The data is not sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Consent and unsubscribing

Subscribing requires confirming the email address through a link sent to it. Every mailing includes an unsubscribe link; you can also ask to be removed by writing to contacto@diegomacana.com. Data is kept for as long as the subscription remains active.

5. Service providers involved

Kit (ConvertKit LLC, United States): stores the subscriber list and sends the emails. This involves an international data transfer, to which the person consents by subscribing.
Cloudflare: hosts the site, handles the contact email and measures visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate, without cookies or individual tracking.
Google Fonts: provides the site’s typefaces.
BCRA and datos.gob.ar: the indicators monitor queries these official public sources from the visitor’s browser.

As with any website, these providers may log technical connection data, such as the IP address, under their own policies.

6. Your rights

Anyone may request access to, correction, update or deletion of their data by writing to contacto@diegomacana.com. Requests are answered within the time limits set by Law 25,326.

The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated, as provided in Article 14, paragraph 3, of Law No. 25,326.

The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the Supervisory Authority of Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed by those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the rules in force on personal data protection.

This policy may be updated. The date of the latest change appears at the top of this page.
